Before moving to the WBEZ Newsdesk, she was Senior Producer of Morning Shift where she was responsible for the editorial mission of the program, working with the host and producers to determine what stories to cover, how show segments are executed and what guests are interviewed. She also produced series like Start the Conversation, which included interviews, call-ins and personal stories about how we approach the topic of death and dying. Carrie’s radio work has won awards from Associated Press, Chicago Headline Club, Association for Women in Communications and National Association of Black Journalists.

Marge has been with WUWM since it changed formats from music to news and information in the late 1980s. Searching for a place where she could produce in-depth journalism, Marge was hired by WUWM as a reporter. For several years, Marge also hosted Morning Edition.

Linton Weeks joined NPR in the summer of 2008, as its national correspondent for Digital News. He immediately hit the campaign trail, covering the Democratic and Republican National Conventions; fact-checking the debates; and exploring the candidates, the issues and the electorate.

Dominic Anthony Walsh is a Trinity University student studying communication and communication management. He is the student director of programming for Indie Overnight on Trinity's KRTU 91.7 FM, where he got his broadcasting start as creator and host of The Hippie Coffee Hours in 2017. Starting in the fall of 2019, Dominic will serve as platforms coordinator and podcast producer for the Trinitonian — Trinity's campus newspaper, where he began his journalism career in 2017 as a feature reporter. Prior to enrolling at Trinity, Dominic spent six years in the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio. He formed his first rock band in 2015 with other youth musicians from YOSA. Since then, he has stayed active in the local music community as a member of Elnuh, Sugar Skulls, and Samantha Flowers, among other projects. Dominic will graduate from Trinity in 2020 and intends to continue working as a broadcast journalist.

Libby Denkmann is KPCC's veterans and military reporter. She focuses on stories about active duty service members, veterans, and their families in Southern California.

Susan Phillips tells stories about the consequences of political decisions on people's every day lives. She has worked as a reporter for WHYY since 2004. Susan's coverage of the 2008 Presidential election resulted in a story on the front page of the New York Times. In 2010 she traveled to Haiti to cover the earthquake. That same year she produced an award-winning series on Pennsylvania's natural gas rush called "The Shale Game." Along with her reporting partner Scott Detrow, she won the 2013 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Journalism Award for her work covering natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania. She has also won several Edward R. Murrow awards for her work with StateImpact. She recently returned from a year as at MIT as a Knight Science Journalism Fellow. A graduate of Columbia School of Journalism, she earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from George Washington University.

Alex Lewis is an independent radio producer based in Philadelphia. He's written and produced longform audio documentaries including The Gospel Roots of Rock & Soul (nominated for a 2020 Peabody Award) - with WXPN and NPR Music - and Going Black: The Legacy of Philly Soul Radio (winner of a 2015 National Edward R. Murrow Award).
