Laura Baasland

Traffic Coordinator

Laura Baasland is an Administrative Assistant at Delmarva Public Media and has been with the organization since Summer 2023. Originally from Northern California, she has called Salisbury home for 10 years now and enjoys being involved in her community. Laura graduated from Salisbury University in 2017 with a BA in each Political Science and Environmental Studies and also minored in Biology. When not doing office work, Laura is knee-deep in parenting her three young children, and she loves to spend time at the beach, traveling, creating, and trying new things. Laura tries not to take life too seriously, and as such her favorite photo of herself is from a heat-stricken trip to Busch Gardens when being licked by a Lady Gouldian Finch in their aviary brought to her attention the fact that birds have tongues.
