The Biden administration has announecd that it will be pushing for more electric powered vehicles to combat climate change. The Washington-based Environmental Defense Fund says that while heavy-duty trucks account for only 4% of vehicles on the road, they are responsible for a major portion of pollution into the atmosphere. Jason Mathers, director of Vehicle & Energy at the organization, says it's time to move toward electric powered trucks and buses.
