Delaware Prepares for Coronavirus

Delaware is preparing for the Coronavirus if it should make an appearance on the peninsula.

The Public Health Division’s said that she believes the risk of the virus so far is low but says that businesses, schools and resident should be aware of the symptoms and the precautions that resident should take.

WBOC reports that the First State actions range from activating its Health Operations Center and monitoring asymptomatic people returning from Mainland China to frequent communication with emergency responders and health officials.

The state is also providing information to health care professionals, businesses and education officials.

It is also review and adapting its pandemic flu plans to the Coronavirus outbreak.
