Berlin Has New Way to Dispose of Cigarette Butts

all-free-download.com

If you smoke the Berlin has a receptacle.

It’s called the “Cigarette Butlers”.

WBOC reports that they are small black boxes that will be attached to poles that look like bird boxes.

A total of 15 are expected to be purchased by the town.

There are seven already in the downtown area.

The butts will be recycled as material to be used for such things as benches.

They have come at a cost of $2-thousand.

The money was part of a $10-thousand grant the town received from the Department of Housing and Community Development.
