Live Nativity Scene Set for Town Circle in Georgetown

Columbia Museum of Art

There will be a Nativity Scene in Georgetown’s town circle after all.

WBOC reports that it will be a live scene sponsored by the non-profit Good Ole Boy Foundation.

The city had barred any unattended display due to safety considerations.

The foundation is seeking assistance ranging from cast members and costumes to the singing of carols.

Meanwhile, Pastor Wood Bates of the First Baptist Church told the television station that this will improve community involvement in the display.
