Things got a bit tense at the James M. Bennett High School yesterday after it received a threatening phone call around 9 a.m.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that school officials had the students stay in place for around an hour as the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office checked out the facility.
But they found no credible threat.
Come 11 a.m. Paul Butler a spokesperson for the county public schools told the paper that things went back to normal.
