Longtime Pocomoke High Girls Basketball Coach has Died

Gail Gladding the longtime girls basketball coach at Pocomoke High School has died.

She was at the school for 25 years leading the team to win the state title in 2008.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Warriors won 447 games including 11 regional titles.

She retired in 2016 after undergoing cancer treatments in her last year as coach.

Gladding was long associated with basketball on the Lower Shore cutting her teeth on the game as a player for Snow Hill.
