Candel Light Vigil Held for Linda Bravo

creative commons

Last night a candle light vigil was held for Linda Bravo who died when her car plunged into a canal in South Bethany Beach.

Neighbors and friends gathered at around 8:30 p.m. to remember her as a loving mother and grandmother.

Duane Urban was part of the search party that looked for Bravo after she went missing in early June.

Standing at the intersection of Anchorage Drive and Route 1 he said this was the last known location known from her cellphone.

WBOC reports that a statement issued by the family said members appreciated the response from Bethany Beach residents and surrounding community.

A memorial service is set for later this week.

Family members are asking that those who want to honor her memory to donate to a non-profit organization that helps rescue dogs in lieu of flowers.
