Expect some closures along Route 13 from Delaware Technical Community College to south of the Dover International Speedway.
The closures will be due to the repair of around 2 miles of concrete piping underneath the highway.
WBOC reports that a section of pipe has been closed in recent years because of a crack officials fear would lead to sewage seeping into the ground or storm water.
Work is expected to take place next month and run more than $8 million.
Funds from the USDA are expected to help pay defray the costs of the project.
