Hogan Ponders Presidential Run

Governor Larry Hogan may have inched closer to a run for the presidency.

During an appearance in New Hampshire…the Maryland Republican said that there were a growing number of people urging him to run.

He said he would give it serious consideration adding that he felt an obligation to do so.

WBOC reports that Wicomico County Republican Delegate Carl Anderton said he thought Hogan would fare well.

Anderton said he believed Hogan could pull a divided Republican party back together.

But the Wicomico Republican added Hogan may put off such a run until 2024.

Currently, President Trump has only one challenger in the Republican primaries – that is former Massachusetts governor William Weld.

One historical note.

His father, a Republican Congressman at the time,  voted to send articles of impeachment to the full House before President Richard Nixon resigned over the Watergate scandal.
