Delaware Measure to End Dailylight Saving Time

creative commons

Tired of switching from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time?

There’s a bill in the Delaware legislature that would move the state into the Atlantic Time zone.

The measure would keep Delaware on Eastern Standard Time.

But the change would only go into effect if the neighboring states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland agree to do the same.

WBOC reports that supporters argue that it would eliminate the disruption from Daylight Saving Time.

But opponents say there’s no necessity for the change and note that some states on the east coast could have different time zones than Delaware.
