The holiday season is coming to Ocean City this week.
Winterfest of Lights will have its 26th annual opening on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with the Winterfest of Lights Magical Tree Lighting Ceremony at Northside Park’s Winterfest Village.
The lighting which is free to the public will see the mayor flip the switch lighting up the 50-foot Christmas tree.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that all rides will be free during the ceremony.
On December 1st the Winterfest of Lights will also include the Ocean City Christmas Parade.
On December 31st Ocean City will also host the New Year’s Eve Celebration.
