Court Plaza to be Torn Down Next Year for Student Housing

Salisbury University website

Salisbury University will be expanding its housing to accommodate over 750 students.

The Salisbury University Foundation bought the Temple Hill Motel and Court Plaza last year.

Foundation Executive Jason Curtin told WBOC that it was purchased for $6 million.

It’s expected that the Court Plaza property will be torn down next spring or summer.

The new facility is expected to resemble Seagull Square along Route 13.

Residential housing will be located on top with retail space located on the first floor.

Curtin told the television station that it will include both suite and apartment style rooms.

There will also be over 8 acres for student and customer parking.
