The Delaware candidates for U.S. Senate will get a chance to debate on August 27th.
The match up will take place at 7 p.m. at Cab Calloway School of Arts in Wilmington and is sponsored by the Wilmington News Journal.
There will be a panel of journalist along with questions submitted by the paper’s readers.
On the Republican side Gene Truono will be on stage at 7 p.m.
But his opponent Rob Arlett will be absent due to a scheduling conflict.
On the Democratic side incumbent Senator Tom Carper and challenger Kerri Harris will debate for an hour beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The party primaries take place on September 6th with the general election slated for November 6th.
