Delaware Attorney General Joins Opposition to 3-D Gun Agreement

The Delaware Attorney General has joined a coalition of 21 other state AG’s in a letter calling on Defense Distributed to not allow access to plans for 3-D guns.

State Attorney General Matt Denn has called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to withdraw from a settlement that allows the company to post plans online for the plastic guns.

They argue that this represents a reckless disregard for public safety.

In the letter they warned that the information would lead to the production of untraceable firearms that can slip through metal detectors at locations such as airports and government buildings.

The attorneys general said they were distressed by the change in the position of the government from the previous administration.
