Chesapeake Bay and Bridge-Tunnel website

Authorities have identified the driver and passenger of a fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the bodies of the passenger 29-year-old Christopher Fenner and the driver 32-year-old Jervone Hall were recovered on Sunday morning.

Divers began their search in Saturday morning and found the tractor-trailer.

The bodies were located eight miles off Fisherman’s Island.

Also involved in the accident was a van with four passengers who were treated and released at the scene.

The Daily Times reports that the tractor-trailer went over the west side of the bridge on the southbound span between the North Channel Bridge and the northernmost island.
