MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) - A 14-year-old boy pictured holding a gun and threatening his former high school in a social media post has been charged with terroristic threatening.

A Delaware State Police statement says the boy had been removed from the school and was enrolling in another. Now he's been held in juvenile detention instead.

Police say a school district employee reported the post last Wednesday. Officers contacted the teen and his mother the next day and determined that all their firearms were accounted for.

The teen was arraigned on a charge of gun possession by a prohibited person as well as making a terror threat. He was ordered held on bail Thursday at a juvenile detention center. It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
