Pocomoke City Police Chief Wants More Officers

Pocomoke City Police Chief William Harden wants more officers to deal with the more than 20-thousand service calls is saw this year.

In addition, the department has had to cope with nearly 400 arrests and 46 burglaries.

Harden told WBOC that with more officers he believes that the city would be able to reduce the crime rate.

And he vowed to try to find funding for more officers.
