Final Demolition in Lighthouse Cove Project

Lighthouse Cover logo

The final stage is set for redevelopment of the Lighthouse Cove in Dewey Beach.

The property formally known as Ruddertowne is now being demolished with completion expected within the next month.

The Lighthouse Cove held an end of an era event for the 40 year old facility earlier in November.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the next phase will include a baywalk, a new commercial space, a restaurant and events venue as well as a new parking lot and residential condos.

A final completion date has not yet been announced.
