The Salisbury Zoo got a $5-thousand check from M&T Charitable Foundation to help repair some of the damage from the recent rains at the facility’s exhibits.

WBOC reports that a September storm felled two trees damaging the owl exhibit.

One crushed a fence along the perimeter on the south side.

The money from the foundation associated with M&T Bank will also go towards expanding the burrowing owl exhibit.
