Life Crisis Center logo

Much has changed since the Life Crisis Center in Salisbury opened as a rape crisis center forty years ago. Executive Director Michele Hughes tells Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush that a new task has been added to their list: Helping people after the death involved in a homicide. The center is holding a gala at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City to mark it anniversary.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
