888,000 Labor Day Travelers Pass Through Delaware Toll Plazas

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Delaware Department of Transportation says that over the Labor Day weekend, more than 888,000 vehicles passed through Delaware's toll plaza locations.

DelDOT released the data Tuesday, covering Friday through Monday. Nearly 900,000 vehicles passed through the toll plazas.

The U.S. 95 Newark Plaza served 395,046 vehicles; 245,569 vehicles passed through the Delaware 1 Biddles Corner Plaza, and 247,907 traveled through Dover Delaware 1 Plaza.

DelDOT says the weekend generated more than $2.4 million in toll revenues.
