Webster Assault Arrest Not Expunged

doverpolice.org

There will be no expunging the arrest record of former Dover police officer Thomas Webster IV on assault charges in his arrest Lateef Dickerson.

WBOC reports that a judge last week said the Webster had not shown that he would be subject to an injustice but did allow him to submit a petition with specific allegations.

In August of 2013 Webster was seen on a dash cam video kicking Dickerson when he was slow to follow his command to lay down on the ground.

Dickerson suffered a broken jaw as a result.

Webster was acquitted of the assault charges last year but decided to resign from the force.
