More Officers for Crisfield Police Department

Crisfield Police Department

The Crisfield Police Department has just received $40-thousand for additional officers.

The money is coming from the City Council even though the crime rate is down according to FBI statistics.

WBOC reports that Chief Michael Tabor said that the additional officers will alleviate the over pressure on officers.

He expected to hire the new officers in July.
