Don’t be alarmed if you get what looks like a parking ticket in Crisfield.
Police have been handing out a lot of these citations but they don’t come with any fine.
Police Chief Michael Tabor says it’s just to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Crisfield Police Department.
The chief told WBOC that his department has issued more than 500 of them and expects more throughout the holiday season.
In the Christmas spirit the department will also be hosting a Santa Claus event tomorrow providing coasts and hat to children.
