Mud Run Raises Nearly $200,000 to Fight Leukemia

Delaware Mud Run website

There were more than 37-hundred people who dove into the 7th annual Delaware Mud Run over the weekend.

The skies were cloudy and the temperatures a bit cool as participants raised nearly $200-thousand at a boot-camp style obstacle course on the former ground of the Frightland attraction off Port Penn Road and Route 13.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that top honors went to the group ABC Nickle GI Jane at more than $5-thousand.

The paper reports that a junior version of the mud run raised more than $100-thousand for the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware.
