Storm Passes, High Temperatures Return

The storm that moved through the region last night left some 63-thousand customers without power last night in Delaware and Maryland.

Late last night the company was able to bring that figure down to just over 23-thousand in the northern portion of the region.

The crews worked through the night restoring power after severe thunderstorms, high winds and intense rain hit the power grid.

The company also used contractors to help in the work.

But…the weather is still warming up with some temperature having reached the mid-90’s.
