First Delaware Medical Marijuana Dispensary Could Be Overwhelmed

creative commons

While the impending opening of the first medical marijuana dispensary in Delaware has been hailed by many in the state it may not be able to meet demand.

The First State Compassion Center will open in less than two weeks.

It will be able to grow more than 150 plants and keep more than 15-hundred ounces on hand.

But the Wilmington News Journal reports that there are around 340 Delaware residents who have medical marijuana cards.

The paper also reports there are around a hundred more who are applying.

And, that number is expected to increase in the coming years.
