ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland's governor-elect Larry Hogan is planning to kick off a tour of the state to thank voters.
Hogan's thank-you tour is set to begin Tuesday in St. Mary's County. He will participate in the annual Leonardtown Veterns Day parade. It begins in the morning at St. Mary's Ryken High School in Leonardtown.
Hogan's campaign says he plans to visit every Maryland county to express his gratitude to voters for electing him. Hogan says he can't think of a better time to begin than on Veterans day. St. Mary's County is home to the Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
Hogan, a Republican, defeated Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown in last week's election.
