Crisfield and Marion Station are in need of some volunteer ambulance drivers.
Capt. George Nelson said the Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad needs them for the day shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
He told the Salisbury Daily Times that lately it has gotten bad for the squad.
The city and county fund the paramedic program with the squad having two full-time paid paramedics and around seven part-time paid paramedics.
But the drivers are volunteers.
Nearby Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company which gets more calls is able to pay its drivers.
Unlike other squads the Lower Somerset squad this one is not attached to a fire company.
