Matt Haley Honored at Culinary Event in Rehoboth

Restaurateur Matt Haley who was killed in a motorcycle accident in India earlier this week was honored last night at the 2nd annual Taste of Rehoboth.

After a moment of silence Matt Dickinson who is director for Haley’s company spoke of his late boss’s humanitarian spirit and brought tears to the eyes of some in the crowd with stories about Haley.

Jay Caputo, who owns the Espuma restaurant and is an organizer of the event, told WBOC that he was in disbelief at Haley’s death.

Haley owned two restaurants in Rehoboth Beach along with six more in Southern Delaware.
