Plane Crash Near Boston Takes Lives of Two Delmarvans

The crash of a small plane outside Boston had two on board from Delmarva.

The plane was owned by Philadelphia Inquirer co-owner Lewis Katz and killed six others on board.

ABC 47 reports that Teresa Benhoff of Easton was one of those who died in the crash.

In an exclusive interview with the television station her sister, Donna Payne, said the two were supposed to spend a girl’s weekend in Ocean City on Sunday and Monday.

Benhoff was one of the three crew members and four passengers killed in the crash around 9:30 Saturday night.

Family members say she was traveling with Katz as an employee at SK Travel LLC.            

The other local victim was the chief pilot James McDowell of Georgetown had a similar role.
