DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware lawmakers are returning to work in Dover after a two-week break.
House and Senate members have relatively light agendas on Tuesday, although the House is set to vote on a bill establishing June 30 as an additional mandatory reporting period for political campaign committees.
The House is also scheduled to vote on a bill allowing local school districts to establish their own teacher evaluation systems rather than use the state system.
The bill, which passed the Senate unanimously last month, says local districts will be guaranteed waivers from the state for local rules that are the product of collective bargaining and community review and are as rigorous as the state evaluation system.
