OC Food Pantry Finds New Home

Shepherd's Crook Food Pantry

The Shepherd’s Crook Food Pantry has a new home in Ocean City.

The new facility will open on May 1st at an empty store front located at 205 Baltimore St.

It has been operating out of the Ocean City Health Center’s Annex.

The pantry was once operated out of the basement of the St. Paul’s By The Sea Episcopal Church which was damaged fire last November.

That was the blaze that took the life of Pastor David Dingwall and another man who entered the facility on fire.

Another person was injured.

Volunteers say that they plan to renew the one year lease at the new location once it is up but eventually hope to move back to the church in the future.
