Community Paint Canvas Kicks Off Spring in Rehoboth

all-free-download.com

The first day of spring came to Rehoboth Beach with – what’s called – the community canvas.

At the Rehoboth Art League’s Annex in downtown Rehoboth Beach the public will be able to contribute their artistic flourishes to an 18-by-24 inch canvas at its entrance.

The canvas will be available until March 28th.

The League is hoping that with the heavy winter people will come out to celebrate the spring concept and illustrate how they feel about the new season leaving a bit of their creativity behind.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the League will occupy the building on Rehoboth Avenue, which is for sale, until a buyer can be found.

The League says while it has use of the building it will be offering programming that it could not offer from its Henlopen Acres facility.
