Winds Wreak Havoc on Berlin Farm

all-free-download.com

There almost nothing left at a family farm in Berlin where winds leveled a building, uprooted trees and left much of the family’s belonging strewn over a neighboring cornfield.

Carol Brittingham told WBOC that she felt like she had lost everything.

She and her family has lived on the farm on Ninepin Branch Road for more than 20 years.

The family was gone from the farm at the time the winds came.

While the home suffered damage to its roof, six other buildings on the farm including two empty chicken houses took the biggest hit.

Three barns were also struck and the irrigation system was overturned.

The family mobile home was also found lodged between two trees.
