The Ocean Pines Association is facing a $537-thousand loss for its golf course despite professional management by Billy Casper Golf.
It was already expected to lose $160-thousand for the fiscal year that ended on April 30th.
But the gulf course wound up losing another $376-thousand.
The Association General Manger Bob Thompson said that the facility has been affected by greens replacement and drainage work.
Board President Tom Terry said that the company knew about these projects and should have budgeted more accurately.
He told the Salisbury Daily Times that Casper officials were aware that the board had concerns and that Thompson was working company officials to monitor them more closely.
