biopic

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Former Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold is doing his court-ordered community service at a local food bank.

Bruce Michalec, executive director of the Anne Arundel County Food Bank in Crownsville, confirmed Leopold's work there to The Capital of Annapolis.

The 70-year-old Leopold, who served 30 days in jail, was ordered to complete 400 hours of community service after he was convicted in January for misconduct in office.

Officials say Leopold has until December to complete his community service.
