Deadline for Sex Abuse Victims in Earl Bradley Case

A December 14th deadline is looming to fill out the paper work for victims of sexual abuse at the hands of former pediatrician Earl Bradley.

He was convicted of child molestation last year and sentenced to 14 life terms.

Their applications will be reviewed by Thomas Rutter.

He oversaw the settlements in the priest sex abuse case in the Diocese of Wilmington.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that he will consult with a pediatrician and child psychiatrist in reviewing the claims.

In accepting the $123 million settlement a superior court said that the most serious claims will involve “clear and convincing evidence of sexual intercourse.”
