Body Parts Found in Snow Hill

SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) - Authorities say they found human body parts in a water-filled ditch in Worcester County over the weekend.

The Snow Hill Police Department was called to the end of Woodland Court on Sunday morning after a person reported seeing possible human remains. Police found a human skull in the ditch. Other remains were found about 20 yards away.

The body has not been identified, pending an examination by the chief medical examiner's office.

The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation and the Maryland State Police were also involved in the investigation.
