Harriet Tubman Living History Experience

Harriet Tubman Living History Experience

Enjoy a living history portrayal of Harriet Tubman by actor Millicent Sparks. It highlights and heightens public awareness of slavery, abolitionism, the Underground Railroad, Civil War and other aspects of the life of one of the 19th century's most celebrated figures: Harriet Tubman. Living history performances have a unique capacity to open windows into the past. When such performances also focus on a heroic icon like Harriet Tubman - a historical figure who demonstrated an unyielding and fearless resolve to obtain liberty and social justice for herself and others - they are all the more compelling.
