Wor-Wic Community College is inviting the public to a free virtual reading by Julian Zabalbeascoa, author of the novel “What We Tried to Bury Grows Here,” on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m., via Zoom. Zabalbeascoa’s stories have appeared in American Short Fiction, The Gettysburg Review, Ploughshares and more.

He is associate director of honors experiential learning opportunities and communication for the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The event, part of the Echoes & Visions literary series, is free and open to the public.
