The Atlantic States Fisheries Commission is considering imposing a 50% cut in the commercial harvesting of menhaden. This comes with growing concerns about the declining Osprey population and the drop in availability of the fish as bait for anglers. In our partnership with the Bay Journal host Don Rush talks with associate editor and senior writer Tim Wheeler about the pending decision.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
