The Parkinson's Foundation estimates that there are one million Americans who suffer from the disease. Host Hal Wilson talked with
Jack Harrald, coordinator for the Mid-Shore Parkinson’s Disease Support Group, about those living with Parkinson’s, care-givers, family members, and others. Support includes educational seminars followed by time for sharing. Seminar topics comprise research updates, treatment options, coping skills, alternative therapies, diet and exercise information, and more.

Don Rush is the News Director at Delmarva Public Media. Before coming to Salisbury, he spent 12 years in Washington, DC with the Pacifica Network News bureau. During the 1980s, he was News Director at KFPK in his hometown of Los Angeles. He also worked for the Los Angeles-based wire and audio news service CNS/RNW.
