In Blacksburg, a Community Tries to Heal
President Bush on Tuesday led grieving students, faculty and families in a convocation in Blacksburg, Va., for the 32 people killed Monday by a lone gunman in a shooting on the Virginia Tech campus. The dead and injured were remembered in speeches and prayers. Seung-Hui Cho shot himself after the rampage. Police are investigating what drove him to his murderous assault.

Two Dozen Suspects Arrested in Air Terrorism Plot
British authorities have arrested 24 suspects in their investigation into an alleged plan to blow up as many as 10 aircraft bound from London to the United States, using liquid chemicals carried in hand luggage. Many, if not all, of the suspects are believed to be British citizens of Pakistani origin.
