DPR Announcement- Consultant's Report Released

From the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. website

An open meeting for public comment regarding the future of Delmarva Public Radio will be held Tuesday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center at Salisbury University.

Hosted by the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. and SU, representatives will be present to hear comments from the community. A signup sheet for speakers will be available at the door. Those unable to attend may send comments to sufoundation@salisbury.edu.

Public Radio Capital, a national non-profit consulting service that has worked with over half of the public radio stations supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, has conducted an analysis and created a report examining future possibilities for the station. That report is here:

DPR consists of two public radio stations, WSCL (89.5 FM), which has a classical music format, and WSDL (90.7 FM), which has a news and talk format.

Chris Ranck is Delmarva Public Media's Executive Producer, Program Director and Automation Engineer.
