Delmarva Today 10-22-2021 part two

Wilson’s guest is poet David Salner. They are discussing is his poetry featured in the online poetry journal Innisfree.   Salner appeared on Delmarva Today, July 16, 2021, to discuss his novel A Place to Hide. Salner is an accomplished poet, however. He has published four poetry collections and his work has appeared in a number of literary journals including three editions of The Delmarva Review. He has received numerous poetry prizes and awards and his work has been read by Garrison Keillor on Writer’s Almanac. Salner’s poetry is very moving and he draws great insight from the grit and texture of his real-world working life as an iron ore miner, steelworker, machinist and longshoreman, to mention a few of his work experiences.

Chris Ranck is Delmarva Public Media's Executive Producer, Program Director and Automation Engineer.
