Artificial Intelligence mapping of wetlands could improve accuracy to within 94%. A team from the non-profit Chesapeake Conservancy has developed a method using areas from Minnesota, Delaware and New York as models to examine a region of Nebraska that has outdated mapping data. In our weekly series with the Bay Journal Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talks with staff writer Whitney Pipkin about the potential of the new method.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
