New Study Finds Modest Impact from Chicken House Ammonia Emissions

The fight over the impact of ammonia emissions from poultry houses has produced another study that found only modest levels. But, it is part of a larger battle in which environmentalists want the Maryland Department of the Environment to oversee such emissions.
